JOB SUMMARY:
Main Purpose of Position:
A Junior Digital Marketing Specialist is a digital marketing generalist with knowledge and skills touching most areas of the digital marketing sphere. As a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist, you should have the innate ability to plan, develop and execute a variety of digital activities and campaigns. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn various digital marketing skills and ultimately experience holistically how different digital marketing activities integrate and support each other to generate sales.
As a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will work closely and support the Digital Campaign, Online and SEO Manager with all digital marketing activities. A vital component of the position will be to assist in developing, launching and managing organic social media, paid social media campaigns, Google Ads campaigns and support campaigns with reporting, landing page development and email marketing.
Ultimately, a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist is a creative marketing mind with the ability to organise projects, meet deadlines and manage different workflows. The ability to interpret analytics and troubleshoot web-related technical issues is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are vital to the success of this role. The Junior Digital Marketing Specialist must display a sense of ownership and pride in their performance and its impact on the company’s success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

| Assist with company websites | · Ensure content on all company sites is kept up-to-date, relevant and accurate.
· Assist with the creation of new landing pages · Ensure that the content of all sites is well-structured and easy to find from a UX perspective. · Apply SEO best practices to company websites. · Assist with content management for the company websites. · Keep copy up to date and create new content at appropriate times.

| Assist with Social Media | · Assist in developing creative and engaging social media content and posts for the brands.
· Post and schedule organic social media. · Set up PPC campaigns and manage set budgets for social media activities. · Managing the day-to-day handling of all channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube – adapting content to suit the different channels. |
| Assist with Digital Campaigns | · Assist with the creation of digital marketing plans and strategies.
· Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs. · Keep a project sheet for all campaigns. · Manage PPC campaigns and budgets effectively. · Assist with setup and registration. · Manage lead generation campaigns for the business and brands. · Prepare and present campaign reports regularly. |

Internal training associated with competencies:
- Adhere to and complete the Company Learning Map issued during the first week of employment to meet expectations.
Minimum Qualification:
- Marketing Degree or BCom Marketing Degree and or relevant Diploma with Online/Digital marketing as a major.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 1-2 Years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Digital marketing certification and or experience with Google Analytics, Google my business, Google tag manager, Google Ads, Facebook business manager, LinkedIn Campaign manager and related certifications are an advantage.
Office Requirements:
- Work-from-office environment.
- Semi-formal dress code.
- Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00.
- Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Reliable transport to and from the office.
Note:
- The remuneration package will be discussed during the interviewing process.
- Follow through with a 3-month probation review which will be scheduled by Human Resources monthly.
- You will be required to perform such duties as reasonably required by the business. Your job description may be amended from time to time if it is valid and reasonable.
